• Today we cross from Guyana into Suriname. First driving to Moleson Creek.
• Take the ferry across to Suriname.
• Then drive from South Drain to Paramaribo.
• Overnight in Paramaribo.
• Morning tour of Paramaribo.
• After lunch take a tour of the Commewijne Plantations.
• Overnight in Paramaribo.
• River cruise from Paramaribo to Danpaati Lodge.
• Night tour for wildlife and Caiman spotting.
• Overnight in Danpaati Lodge.
• Explore Maroon Village.
• Visit the Samaaka Maroon Museum and learn more about their indigenous ways of life.
• Experience a traditional dance.
• Overnight in Danpaati Lodge.
• Today we head back to Paramaribo.
• Today we will head to French Guiana.
• First we will drive to Albina, where we will take a ferry to cross into French Guiana.
• Arrival in St. Laurent de Maroni, then drive to Kourou.
• Overnight in Kourou.
• Today we will visit Devil's island and the penal colony complex.
• Explore the 3 Salvation Islands.
• Overnight in Kourou.
• Today we will get a tour of the Guiana Space Centre, also called European Spaceport. Here is where the rockets from the European Union get launched.
• After we drive to Cayenne and take a city tour before dinner.
• Overnight in Cayenne.
• Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
*Airport transfers are only included if you arrive on the following flights. Arrival on the 16th, flight AA2567 arriving at 15:10 or flight AF4516 arriving at 02:30. Departure on the 26th, flight AF601 departing at 12:35 or flight AF889 departing at 17:05. If you arrive on a different flight you can either take a taxi or we can arrange a transfer for you at an extra cost.
