• Arrive in Chad’s capital, N’Djamena, and transfer to the hotel.
• Today we will depart to locate the Wodaabe tribe.
• As a nomadic community, their location remains undisclosed and can take anywhere between 2 and 8 hours to arrive from N’Djamena.
• In the evening we will have a bivouac dinner in the camp.
• During the day we will tour the camp and witness the Wodaabe preparing for their celebrations. As night falls, the community will gather for a long night of singing, dance, and courtship rituals.
• Camp for the night.
• Today the Gerewol festivities will continue and we will spend the day immersing ourselves in the Wodaabe's way of life and celebrate their traditions.
• Camp for the night.
• After breakfast we will spend our final morning with the Wodaabe people.
• After lunch we will return to N'Djamena and spend the evening at leisure.
• In the morning we will travel to Gaoui which was once the capital of the Sao civilisation. Here we will visit the former palace of the Sultan of Gaoui and explore one of the finest examples of mud-build architecture.
• Later, we will have a city tour of N'Djamena and visit the Chad National Museum.
• Today the tour ends.
• Depart from N'Djamena at anytime.
• Many flights connect via Addis Ababa and Cairo.
